What is Heritage Ventures?
Heritage Ventures lets ordinary collectors own Shards of real historical artifacts. These aren’t JPEGs — they represent ownership of real pieces, documented and listed on the platform. You can buy Shards, hold them, list them, or even build towards complete ownership of a piece.
How do I use the Platform?
Using Heritage is simple. Create an account with your email — that account includes your Heritage wallet, where your Shards are held. Then enter the Agora, browse the collection, study the photos and descriptions. When you find a piece you like, you can buy Shards directly or add them to your cart. Checkout supports USDC and credit cards. You can hold your Shards, list them for sale, or continue collecting toward a larger position in the piece.
Are the artifacts real?
Yes. Heritage Ventures lists real historical objects — photographed, described, and documented by experienced specialists. Every listing represents a specific artifact. You are not buying a generic token or a stock image. The objects are real. The Shards are contractually tied to the objects they represent.
What is a Shard?
Tutorial video coming soon A Shard is a fractional ownership interest connected to a specific artifact. The NFT is the digital ownership record for that Shard. We use this structure so the Shard supply can be audited — if a piece has 400 Shards, users can verify that supply rather than simply taking our word for it.
Can I lose money?
Tutorial video coming soon Yes. Shards are collectibles and can lose value. If you sell a Shard for less than you paid, you can lose money. Heritage Ventures does not guarantee profit, appreciation, or liquidity.
Can Users buy the whole artifact?
Tutorial video coming soon Yes. Most pieces will allow a user to make an offer for complete ownership. To do that, the buyer must purchase all outstanding Shards under the platform rules and pay the required house commissions. If that happens, Shard holders are paid according to their ownership, and the buyer may take ownership of the physical piece. This mechanism is part of the Shard design and in the terms users accept when they purchase.
